In Panabaj, a suburb of Santiago Atitlán, many of the families that lost their home have been given shelter, water and sanitation facilities by organizations like CONIC (Coordinadora Nacional Indigena y Campesina) and Oxfam GB. Some families of Panabaj, which moved into downtown with friends and relatives, have not received relief support.

According to the mayors office, one expressed need is to recover their traditional kitchen utensils, for which PRO-LAGO, with your help, is starting to supply basic kitchen sets with pots, pans, coffee pots, frying pans, etc.
